NoMI Kitchen Celebrates Mother’s Day With a BYOB Flower Bar

NoMI Kitchen has teamed up with Mike Hines of Mike Hines Signature to create a Mother’s Day event filled with a few of Mom’s favorite things: exquisite food, decadent desserts, and fresh flowers.   Prior to being seated, mothers will have the opportunity to handpick their favorite flowers at our special “NoMI BYOB (Build Your Own Bouquet) Flower Bar” where Mike Hines Signature will create customized, seasonal floral bouquet arrangements with mom’s added personal touches.

While Hines works his magic, mothers and their families can indulge in NoMI Kitchen’s annual Mother’s Day Brunch created by Executive Chef Ryan LaRoche.  Brunch consists of market seafood and carved-to-order chef stations, salad compositions such as Baby Gem Lettuce with Goat’s Milk Feta, BBQ Duck Salad, and Romaine and Watercress Cobb, and traditional items such as Belgian Waffles, French Toast and Egg Dishes.  The meal also includes a la carte dishes featuring the following entrees: Spring Vegetable Aqua Cotta prepared with poached farm eggs, crispy ciabatta, and olive oil, Crispy Chicken Thigh served with truffled potato salad, braised endive, and natural jus, Shepherd’s Pie filled with braised pork belly, English peas, and whipped potato, Grilled Escolar with asparagus, roasted mushroom, ramp butter, and Asparagus Farro cooked with spinach, roasted spring onion, and fontina val d’asota.

Meals are topped off with a trip… or two to Pastry Chef Meg Galus’ dessert table filled with an array of sweets which include Glazed Doughnuts, Honey Nougat Chiboust, Cinnamon & Caramelized White Chocolate Rice Pudding, Rocky Road Tartlets, and a collection of cakes inspired by our pastry team’s mothers.

The NoMI BYOB Flower Bar experience is concluded with a special bouquet of beautiful flowers to bring home to remind mom just how much you care.
