Esquire names Executive Chef Ryan LaRoche one of “Five New Chefs To Watch”

We are delighted to share that Executive Chef Ryan LaRoche of NoMI Kitchen at Park Hyatt Chicago was named by Esquire Magazine as one of “Five New Chefs To Watch” in the annual Best New Restaurants of 2012 November issue.

Esquire Food and Travel Correspondent John Mariani, who has eaten his way across the country for nearly three decades, also selected the 20 best new restaurants in America including “Restaurant of the Year.”

LaRoche and NoMI Kitchen were the only restaurant in Chicago to be recognized.  Other nods went to Ryan Hildebrand of Triniti in Houston; Matthew Lightner of Atera in New York; Adam Mali of Brasserie S&P in San Francisco; and Joe Ng of Red Farm in New York.

Congratulations to Chef Ryan and the entire team at Park Hyatt Chicago for this prestigious honor!
